Sophie Taplin

I’ve recently returned to Raetihi as Student Success Advisor for the Taihape/Taranaki region. Raised on a South Wairarapa sheep and beef farm and shaped by years farming across the North Island, I’m passionate about supporting the next generation through those formative early years in agriculture. My focus is simple, helping grow capable, resilient young people who will strengthen our rural communities. Outside of work, you’ll find me on horseback, hunting, or on the netball court.
