Programme Support
I live in the vibrant rural community of Omakere, where my husband Guy manages Mahoe Station and our three daughters attend the local school. I grew up in Hawke’s Bay before studying at the University of Otago, where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching. Before starting a family, I spent six years teaching at Hastings Boys’ High School. I also hold a Pilates certification and continue to teach a few classes each week at our local studio. I’ve always enjoyed working with people and supporting others. Combined with my passion for rural life, this has made my role as the Hawke’s Bay Student Success Advisor especially rewarding. I love being able to help young people explore and access careers in farming.
