Student Success Advisor

I am sheep and beef farming in Pongaroa, the hills of the Tararua district, and am the Student Success Advisor for the Wairarapa region. I am originally from a small coastal town south of Perth, Western Australia and have been in New Zealand for 5 years. In my spare time I enjoy riding horses, fishing and boating, showing cattle and training my working dog, Joey. 

Farming in NZ is at a really exciting time and I am incredibly passionate about helping the next generation get into Agriculture. I see a huge need for young people to stick around small communities like Pongaroa, so through my job, I want to be the person to push the connections. I hope to bring new ideas to the GFF community and show that it doesn't matter where you're from, the options are endless.
